The Company

The Sani-Chaise is designed with the patient and the caregiver in mind. Its unique patent-pending design includes three important new features. First, its design is wider, offering more patient stability and comfort. There are even grab-handles on each side that can give the patient more control.
The Sani-Chaise is the only bedpan that includes a double-ply disposable plastic bag that completely contains the waste and protects the bedpan and the bed from contamination. There'sno cleanup in most cases.
The Sani-Chaise has a unique design that allows the bed to do the work. No more back injuries lifting or rolling heavy patients. The design does the work by holding the bedpan in place while the bed is raised, automatically positioning the patient on top of the pan with no effort to caregivers. |

The Back Story
The idea for the Sani-Chaise came about after Alberto's sister went to visit their ailing aunt in a nursing home. While there, his sister participated in the changing of their aunt's bedpan. Afterward, his sister told him how terrible the experience was.
Alberto, having been laid off from CEMEX where he was an engineer, was eager to do something about it.
He crafted the first model in his garage out of wood and wood shaping tools. He then took it to the nursing home where they told him that it was good, but not good enough. After two subsequent iterations, the nursing home was so impressed they begged him to leave it there.
Thus the Sani-Chaise was born. |
